About FREE license
We offer a free (take it and use it, no strings attached) license for SFTP client functionality of our SecureBlackbox components. Competitors offer similar (yet not even close to power of SFTPBlackbox client) functionality for $400 and more. We give it to you for free.
How is SFTPBlackbox compared to competitors?

To get the free license, you need to take the following simple steps:
- Log in to EldoS site. If you don't have an account, create an account
- Licensing and download information is linked to so-called license tickets. Your FREE ticket is "145031733550352396" (without quotes). Link this ticket to your account.
- After the ticket is linked, you can take the free license key in My Control Center. Downloads and License Keys sections are not accessible via My Control Center if you don't have a ticket linked.
- Download SFTPBlackbox .NET (part of SecureBlackbox component suite) and use the obtained license key instead of the default evaluation license key, included in SecureBlackbox package.

Is it free for any purpose?We give away a free Vendor license so the terms of this license apply.
Does free SFTP license expire?No. You can use the given license with SecureBlackbox 9 for as long as you need (say 5 years or 10 years or as long as the code can be run).
Do I get support when using free SFTP license?Yes. Standard support is available to you as described on support pages.
Free cheese is available only in the mousetrap, no?Not exactly. We prefer to call it "Freemium" model - the functionality is completely free and you get some premium features for a fee. What you can do to "pay" for a free license is (a) spread the word about SecureBlackbox, and (b) look at other components included in SecureBlackbox.
Is the license crippled in any way?Free license provides you complete SFTP client functionality. SSH Shell and Command tunnels are not available, as they are not part of SFTP standard. You can buy a separate license for SSH client functionality, if you need it.
